Remember, 99% is a bitch 100% is a breeze. So, what are your daily routines?
Today's the day to move from theory to practice mastery. You want a daily routine that taps into your higher power so you systematically become the best version of yourself. If you are consistent over time, there will be a BIG change, but the action alone will get you immediate results.
Each morning I visualize the best version of myself. I start with, who am I? Then, what virtues and actions do I embody at this best version, and I make them my target for the day.
I then decide to Turn PRO on whatever I do on this day. My daily goal is to do DEEP, profound work. I want to connect to my inner genius and give the world all I've got. Now that I realize what I can do, anything less leads to depression, anxiety, and low energy.
The result is energized tranquility vs. enervated anxiety. Performing at the highest level, I am capable on any given day. Not accepting mediocrity as mediocrity is being stuck. We want to close that gap and gain the soul force that comes with doing genius work.
The question I used to ask myself over and over was, "Can you be consistent?” I have learned that If I just show up regularly, it adds up. No matter the effort, you will get massive results if you show up consistently. The mastery will come just from consistent action alone.
I then begin to work on my Energy Management. Your energy level boils down to your fundamentals, such as eating, sleeping, moving, breathing, and hydrating habits. Your physiology is 85% of energy management. The rest is psychology and action. I have literally begun aging backward since being hyper-focused on these fundamentals.
In addition, I limit any Blue light stimulation, especially one hour or more before bed. Constant digital stimulation is like soaking in Kryptonite.
Psychologically you want to cultivate hope and trust (in you). Consistency and focus on your fundamentals will achieve this.
Do your most important work when your energy is at its best, which tends to be in the morning.
I then shift to Focus Management- You must know what you want to focus on at a high level, then time block your day.
Then bring your day's agenda to the crush-it level. Focus is your superpower.
Implement these 3 rules to enhance your focus.
1. Reduce distraction internally and externally. Start your day by meditating. Learn to embrace boredom, and eliminate distractions in your surroundings. Have a sense of agency and ownership. Y KNOW THAT YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR STIMULI.
2. NO MULTITASKING. It is a myth. It is task-switching and spoils the sauce. (Imagine using the same spoon in 4 different pots??)
3. CREATE time blocks and focus on ONE thing at a time with no distractions. Train your focus
I then spend some time on What's Important Now Management (WIN). You can have everything else perfect, but if you do not know WIN, you will not progress.
These 3 rules are imperative in WIN management.
1. First things first, second things not at all (habit number 3 of Steven Covey's seven habits). There is no more significant waste of time than doing something efficiently that should not have been done at all.
2. WIG What is your wildly important goal? It should be achingly important. Go back to your identity and get clear on it. When you have a target lined up visually, you have a much higher chance of hitting it. Have a goal, measure it, and have a Scorecard, so you always know where you are at. Imagine bowling without being able to see the pins. Tennis without a score? Imagine Wimbledon without a score. BE CONSISTENCY
3. Create Micro-Wins- celebrate every little progress- If all you do is show up daily and manage distractions, it's a WIN
And lastly, Consistency Management creates exponential power and is the most in your control. You must revisit your A.M. and P.M. Rituals regularly and take inventory of how you are spending your days.
