THE POWER OF AGENCY

It all boils down to Awareness.

I recently made a video about a Book I read, “The Power of Agency” by Paul Napper and Anthony Rao. 

I was extremely excited when I realized that the “Agency” they were writing about was exactly the same theory as “Life Force,” or existing at “higher levels of consciousness, “God,” and “Faith.” 

These words all describe the benefits of the journey to self-awareness. 

When we expand our Awareness, we can indeed be present. And when we are truly present, we are free. 

I have learned by working with Guru Singh at Kundalini University that life begins with Tension, pressure, stress, and friction and grows when you cultivate physical ease, emotional joy, mental knowing, and spiritual Liberation. With the knowledge that stress or “problems” are giving birth to know, joy, ease, and Liberation, Faith and confidence arise. Intuitively knowing that all will be ok and that this is where the good stuff happens, in the darkness. 

I realized that whether it be a spiritual book or a self-improvement book you are reading, the key to unlocking a beautiful life is all the same. It all boils down to “Self-Awareness.” 

So, no matter your ultimate goal (happiness, success, freedom), you must cultivate self-awareness, become present, and be in forgiveness to receive the blessings of Joy, Ease, Knowing, and Liberation. 

If you are anything like me, you swing from reactive to passive and struggle with that balance. These blessings of Life Force, Agency, Faith, or whatever you identify as a result in you being active and present with the ability to elevate your circumstances and living in ways that genuinely reflect your values and inner motivations. No more Autopilot, constructing a beautiful life by design. Leading with your intuition. 

The quote from the book defines Agency as “The ability to act as an effective agent for yourself, reflecting, making creative choices, and constructing a meaningful life.” this is the ultimate goal.
